By the end of this module, the student shall:

a) Appreciate the importance of conducting a survey

b) Discuss the why and how of sampling

c) Explain how demographic characteristics are important in carrying out audience research.

By the end of the module, the student should be in a position to demonstrate an appreciation of the audience's opinion on their radio with regard to: 

a) Which radio programs the like

b) Which radio programs they dislike

c) Their suggestions if at all the radio can improve its performance and rating

By the end of this module, the trainee(s) shall internalise the Theory of Change and be in a position to:

a) Appreciate radio audience consumption trends so that they may use appropriate and cost effective methods to align their programs accordingly and become more competitive in their catchment area.

b) Discuss the extent  to which a radio station's performance can be defined by the Theory of Change.
